Dynamo Royale 1 - The First BWorld Tournament!

Attention Ballland Battlers:

Thanks to the release of x.4005, we’ll be putting together tournaments for competitive gameplay here on Ballland: World. This thread marks the first event of ours: Dynamo Royale 1!



The tournament will be on the multiplayer battling side of the game and have several leagues:

The first league is Free-For-All 8's, FFA8, which are battles of 8 players and 4 matches per round. This mode takes 32 players. The top 4 players from each set of 8 advance to the next round. Then, there's a round of 4 matches with the remaining 16 players where the top 8 advance to the semifinals, and the final round is a 1v1 between the top two players:

The second is Free-For-All 4's, FFA4, which are battles of 4 players with 16 initial players. The second round has 8, and the final round is a 4-player free for all.

The third is a teamed 2v2 bracket. Players will form a team and stick with it all the way to the finish line or elimination. This mode takes 16 players, with the first round being 4 parallel battles and 4 emerging teams, the next round eliminating the bottom two teams and the finals being the ultimate 2v2.

The final league is a 1v1 classic Single Elimination with 16 initial players.

All of the rounds will have 2 Classic Mode matches and 2 Stock Mayhem matches. Scoring will be weighted according to the highest score using the conventional formula of "Percent of Highest Score * 10000".

Before the rounds, any particular group is allowed up to two practice matches.

For players that can’t enter due to time we’ll give them the ability to sponsor a bot up to their own XP level.
